The African HIV Policy Network (AHPN) is a policy and campaigning organisation representing African communities affected by HIV. It brings together mostly African community-based organisations and forums, and enables Africans to speak with a collective and representative voice on HIV and sexual health issues. The AHPN acts as a strategic and policy advisory body to the Department of Health, other Government departments, local authorities, Primary Care Trusts, and private sector agencies
